It is so much fun to make octopuses. Probably why I made yet another mug with an octopus holding on for dear life. This time, I intended to balance out the head with the handle.
Not like the weight of the head pulled the mug in any direction with previous mugs, but it seemed timely to create some balance. Also, this way the head is visible no matter which hand you hold the mug with. I find the handle very comfortable to hold.
Every glazed surface is food-safe as I only used Botz Pro glazes. The inside has a white speckled (Botz Pro) glaze to ensure it can be kept clean.
It holds more than 500 ml, and it has weight to it, almost 900 g.
Disclaimer: there is a small chip on the bottom, presumably the glaze melted to the kiln shelf and it came off with it. It doesn’t affect the functionality or aesthetics of the mug.
